On The Evidence...Every Charge Shall Be Sustained

“In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.” (2 Corinthians 13:1b)

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”  (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
 
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."  (James 1:5)

If one convinced that weekly Sabbath observance is not for New Covenant believers (who are partakers of an everlasting covenant [See Hebrews 13:20]), even though the scriptures clearly make evident Jesus and apostolic (our patriarchs) Sabbath observance, as well as future Sabbath observance is evident (in the New / Everlasting Covenant), I submit to you to establish it by doing the following:

If you can hear from God (his voice), ask Him this: 

Is the Sabbath Your Holy Day? 

Secondly, when He answers yes, ask Him:  Am I dishonoring you by not treating your Holy Day as sacred?

Thirdly, if you still then are not convinced, ask Him:  Is it unrighteous to dishonor You?  (Since you already know the answer to this question, I am not sure if you will receive the answer again)

If He answers yes to all these questions (through His voice, His written Word, or another means of communication / confirmation), look-up 1 John 5:17.  (If one loves the Lord in spirit and in truth, it should not be to much trouble for a person to seek the Lord about this and put the issue to rest [sabbath rest]).

"Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king."  (1 Peter 2:17)

"A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear?"  (Malachi 1:6a)

"Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;"  (Ephesians 6:2)
